Teuffel Guitars

No one will argue the fact that Ulrich Teuffel builds "out of this world" guitars.  He is an artist and visionary with keen engineering skills. His guitars are the result of his uncompromising attitudes with respect to tone, feel and aethestics.

As Ulrich states:

"My great-grandfather was engineer, my grandfather was an engineer, my father is an engineer, my second grandfather was a cabinetmaker, my uncle is a cabinetmaker, my granduncle was a painter, so what can I say: becoming an accountant has never been my ambition. An inventor is a bit more my style."

An extended apprenticeship in metalwork and construction at Mercedes-Benz and continued study of industrial design has shaped some of his unique design philosophy.

Equally influenced by modern builders such and Klein and Steinberger and traditional guitar pioneers like Leo fender, Teuffel has found a way to build guitars that are on the cutting edge aethestically and sonically while retaining the ability to cop familiar tones and feel.
