Wilson Effects 12 Position Vintage Spec Q-Wah

$220.00

From the thinner quacky tones of the vintage Italian Jen wahs to the snappy yet quacky sound of the Thomas Organ wahs of the 70's the Q-Wah series is bound to get you there.

With a thinner bottom end and a circuit modeled after the above mentioned pedals the Q-Wah is capable of achieving a variety of vintage tones as well as a plethora of modern tones. The Q-Wah gets it's sound by using less capacitance on the input of the circuit therefore decreasing the amount of bass that is retained by the input signal. That is not to say the Q-wah is not capable of getting more bass in it's signal, the stock circuit was just designed in this fashion.

Every Q-Wah comes standard with an exterior sweep control that allows you to control the depth of the sweep. The sweep knob on the Q-Wah has a more dramatic effect of the depth of the sweep than that of the Rippah Q-wah series. It allows you to go from absolutely no sweep to a deep throaty sweep that you could only dream your vintage wah was capable of. In addition to the sweep control there is also a Q control. With 12 positions you have the infinite ability to shape your tone via this selector switch. Last but not least every Q-Wah comes with a growl control at the heel. This allows you to shape the overall tone of the pedal from a deeper throaty sound to a thinner quacky sound. Incorporate this control with the volume trimmer on the inside circuit board and you can shape the sound of this wah to your liking. Each Q-Wah comes with a built in fuzz buffer with this volume control included. This allows you to tune the pedal to unity gain or to boost the signal above unity so you can cut through the mix in a live setting.

All of the Wilson pedals are built with a true bypass circuit therefore not sucking the life out of your signal when in bypass mode. The Wilson Wah operates on an industry standard 2.1mm center negative power supply or a high quality alkaline battery. All pedals are covered by a one year warranty on parts and labor and is hand built in the U.S.
