When it comes to recreating vintage Big Muffs, BigToneMusicBrewery is one of the best, if not the very best in the World. So believe me when I tell you that the American Ram Fuzz sounds exactly like an original Ram’s Head era Muff. BTMB use NOS BC239C transistors just like the originals. The only difference between theirs and the original is that theirs is significantly less noisy and much more versatile in terms of EQ capability.

As with all EQ’d Vintage Series pedals, the American RamFuzz features a powerful 3‐band EQ with a sweepable, parametric midrange. The concentric knobs keep everything compact, yet easy to use. The soft-‐touch relay switching system offers reliable pop-­free true bypass switching. The through‐hole (not surface mount) PCB is assembled entirely by hand in their shop in Richland, WA.
