ThorpyFX THE J - LAZY J x ThorpyFx Collaboration

This is the second a pedal in Thorpy's Analog Amp Emulator Series. They've wanted to collaborate with Jesse for as long as they can remember, more than anything because it’s amazing what you can achieve when you get to work with very cool people. You always end up with something that is greater than the sum of its parts.  The J is a tone multiplier for your board, a tweed “tour de force” designed to give you those complex Lazy J20 sounds in a pedal format. We don’t describe this as amp in a box, because its more than that, it feels like the amp you are playing, it responds in the same manner and ultimately rewards the guitarist in the same way. Fitted with a high-quality transformer, the pedal reacts to your playing and distorts like a full-size amplifier and to top it off we have designed the J so you can choose your input tube 12AX7 vs 12AY7, for dirtier vs cleaner tones.

The J as an Analog amp emulator can work fantastically well with your existing amp, your existing pedals and it integrates easily into your current rig, its designed to sit before a clean or relatively amp if you want maximum tweed accuracy, if you need your own thing then mixing it with a slightly overdriven amp will take you to awesome places too. You can use it to create classic vintage amp sounds or craft your own sound. Tested worldwide during its development on the biggest of stages, you can be confident the J will deliver for you. 

To ensure consistency, reliability, low noise and tonal supremacy the J is made with extremely high quality components. 1% metal film resistors, WIMA and Panasonic capacitors where possible and robust through hole gold plated PCB’S. In short, all of this means you won’t have to worry about your pedal and it should give you many years of inspiring tonal bliss.
