I have some very unfortunate news. Bob Sweet of Sweet Sound Electronics, maker of the Mojo Vibe, Ultra Vibe and other excellent pedals, has been diagnosed with cancer. He is having to deal with it without Health Insurance.

Bob is a great guy who has always been very quick to help anyone and everyone in need.

He's been either a professional musician and/or gear builder nearly his whole adult life, so the cost of health insurance has always been prohibitive. This hits close to home for me as well, given that I can't afford ext. health insurance for my family either. Also, We have lost alot of people who were dear to us to cancer over the last few years.

Teddy at Musictoyz.com has established a Bob Sweet Charity page for information and updates. Many effects builders and players will be auctioning off their wares to benefit Bob. Bob has been a part of the guitar community as a pedal builder for 15 yrs. He has always been the first to aid others whether it be with the 9/11 auctions, Katrina auctions, Fallen Soldier donation, Tsunami auctions, etc. Bob is a very giving and humble person who needs some help. All of the money raised in these auctions goes directly to Bob. The shipping is donated by the person, company or people auctioning the item unless otherwise stated. Music Toyz.com and all others profit zero from these auctions except the joy of helping one of our own. We auctioned off a few of the New Large Beaver Pre-builts with the proceeds going to help Bob. * Please note: I am very picky about the pedals I carry. They must have immaculate tone and reliability and the right vibe. Thus far, I am very impressed by all of the pedal manufacturers I deal with . All of their boxes are useful for other instruments in addition to guitar. They will be the benchmark that I judge other pedal lines by, if and when I consider adding other pedals to the fray. In addition, the manufacturers I carry all have one big thing in common: They are all Super People that are fun and easy to deal with!

First off, I really love Guitar Gear! Pedals, Amps and Guitars, anything that contributes to tone interests me a great deal. Perhaps...I might be a better player if I were not so obsessed with funky noises. The purpose of this little site is to enable me to easily show off some of my favourite guitar gear to like-minded tone mongers and allow visitors to take a look at stuff that I have up on the trading block. It is also an excellent way in which I can procrastinate from doing other work. Lastly, I am hoping that this website will be regarded as a fun place to browse around. I also love Mountain Biking.

I am quite proud of all the junk that I have accumulated and I love to buy, sell and trade all sorts of guitar gear. Although, I will never be a rock star, I take heart in knowing that I have helped others do the rock star thang. It sounds pretty hokey, but I really get a kick out of helping people find that TONE.

Please let me know if anything interests you. The more stuff you want, the lower the prices. If you want multiple items, I will generally cut the prices significantly. Further to that, Although I note that the prized possessions on my "ME" page are strictly Not for Sale, if you really want some thing I have shown there, I have been swayed by the green stuff on more than one occasion. This is usually best accomplished near the time of month that I have to pay the mortgage :-)
